Rolf Widmer is married to Marie Françoise d'Anglemont de Tassigny and they live in Carouge by Geneva. Their four children are grown-ups and they live and work in Geneva. He has three foster sons from Lebanon who have been with him in Switzerland since 1985; today they themselves are parents.
Together with his wife they have thirteen grandchildren in total.
